The music was from Free Music Archive.
Our task was to:
Create a series of slides retelling the story of Paoa and Kiwa. We out similar to the book - one picture and a few sentences on each page. WE MUST USE OUR OWN WORDS. Think about how it will look on your blog - we want it to be easy to read with colourful pictures.
I found it hard to find out how to use background music.
I found it easy to rewrite the story of Paoa and Kiwa because I have done it many times.
Here are two screencastifys on how to create the audio.
Kia ora Catalina,
ReplyDeleteI liked the way you put a picture on each slide and how your title page looks.
next time make sure that not only you can hear your voice

Kia ora Catalina,
ReplyDeleteWow! I am so impressed by this blog post and the way you have not only created the story of Paoa and Kiwa with audio, but the way you have shared your screencastify of how to add audio so others can do this as well. Thank you for sharing this.
The first video not showing - are you able to go and make it visible?
I definitely agree with your self assessment in the rubric - you are an expert!

Kia ora Catalina,
ReplyDeleteWow, you sound very professional on your screencast about adding audio to slides. Well done.
I think there is one step you need to do to allow us to hear the audio on your slides.
We get this message on the slides:
'This slide contains hidden audio that needs permission to be played.'
On the audio file in your Drive, share so 'anyone with the link' can view.
I tested it out and it works.
Then we will be able to hear your audio.
Look forward to it.

Hi Catalina,
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great to see all these positive, helpful comments on your blog.
Well done for finishing this task so quickly and so incredibly well. The rest of the class will find your Screencastifies very useful as they are already on our class site - thank you for making them for them. I am also going to put them on our class blog.
I hope you are enjoying the sunshine.
