Book Of The Road Sestina Poems

This term we are participating in the #Get NZ Writing. We send our writing and about our school to another school in NZ. This year our school was writing to Marine View School in Auckland.
We are writing Sestina poems.

Gushing waterfalls across the clay wall,
Counting down the 18 hour drive,
Gazing at the remarkable South Island sights,
Santino repeating, “Are we there yet?”
Immense split rocks at Moeraki beach,
Greeting, hugging, food cooking, laughing, presents!

Family reunions and a fancy wedding,
Informative museums, huge malls, long traffic,
Hearing and seeing, laughing and crying,
Hours in a hot, stuffy, plane,
Giannina’s whining and crying all throughout,
Taking the long, long scenic route.

This Is Just To Say...

Today for writing, we were writing about one thing that was naughty that we did when we were little (or recently).
I found it easy to think of some this naughty I did.
I found it hard to find an image that wasn't for premium.
