Space Race

This week for our reading tasks, we are reading a book called space race and we need to make a profile for both Kimi Tan and Ben Cormack.
I found it hard to think of what to put on their files because they didn't describe the two much.
I found it easy to find a reusable gif.

Master Navigator: Tupaia

Last week we were learning about Tupaia. We needed to include in our slide why Tupaia should be remembered.
I found it quite hard to not repeat things on why he should be remembered.
I found it easy to find a compass background because there was many to choose from.

Ghost Running Gear

This term we are reading a book called Ghost.
The easiest part was finding a template for the shoes.
The hardest part was to continue the polyline.
Next tine I would make more running gear.

Smart Media

Today at Cybersmart we were learning to know how to verify online information and analyse the construction of digital media.
I found it easy to take a picture of the book because I didn't need to take off the background.
I found it hard to think of what I was going to do.
Next time I would make a more realistic bit of magic.

What is Media?

Today in Cybersmart we learned what media is.
Media is information, and it is all around us!
I found it hard to finish on time.
I found it easy to take a picture.
Next time I would take the background of the chromebook.

School Journal Comic

I class we are making a comic on our chromebooks from a school journal.
I found it hard to get everything in the right angle.
I found it easy to find reusable png images.
Next time I would add more tables.

Rugby World Cup 2019 Quiz

For reading, we needed to make something on our chrome books combining both what Mrs Torrie has taught us this 
( Mrs Torrie is our Cybersmart teacher ) and something to do with the Rugby World Cup. 

I chose to do a Rugby World Cup 2019 Quiz, similar to my Math Quiz you can see a few posts down on this blog.

I found it hard to fit the countries all in one slide, and will try and fit all of the countries next time.

I didn't find anything easy.

Rugby World Cup Mash-up

In Cybersmart we made a flag representing a country that was going to the Rugby world cup.
I enjoyed finding Japanese things because I love Japan. I love Japan because of its food.
I found it really hard because we could only use one image off the Internet and we had to draw a different thing on our selves.
Also, we were working buddies and we only allowed to communicate by commenting. It got quite chaotic!
Next time I would try to group the images properly.

Paikea And The Whale

We are learning to infer, or read between the lines.

We read a story called Paikea and the Whale.

We had to make a billboard telling everyone that the Whale saved Paikea.

I enjoyed making the waves.

I found it hard to find a reusable whale image.

Removing Backgrounds

In Room 1 for Cybersmart, we are learning to remove backgrounds. My favourite part was playing around with the shapes. Replacing my feet was what I found challenging. It was because they got cropped when I was taking the background away. On slide 3 click on the image that says remove BG. It will take you to the link of where it removes the background.
