COVID-19

You may have heard of the Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
These are some known facts about COVID-19.
  • Corona means crown, and under a mircoscope the coronavirus looks like a crown.
  • There are different strains (types) of coronavirus.
  • COVID-19 stands for Corona Virus Disease 2019.
This is a link on more about COVID-19.

My family and I have been praying this prayer to Mother Mary everyday at 12:00  The Angelus and two decades of the rosary and a prayer composed by Pope Francis, on Wednesday. Here is the prayer if you would like to do the same.

O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus' pain, keeping your faith firm. You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross,
to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.

  1. Kia ora Catalina,
I like the way you have started with facts and finished with a prayer. The link you shared is also very informative. Two of my children are working in hospitals so we are also praying for the essential workers. Thank you for sharing your prayers. The Holy Spirit shines brightly in you. God bless.
    Mā te wā,
    Mrs Naden
