Sucess Criteria
- use some long and short sentences
- use adjectives and adverbs
- use juicy verbs to start a sentence
- use a similie or metaphor
- keep one main idea in each paragraph
- edit for spelling and punctuation
Click! Snap! The elastic clipped on. “So.” I started nervously. “ I just run and charge at the foam attached with the velcro?” Of course, I knew what I was doing. Of course I was just stalling. Of course, I wanted to scream and run out of that bouncy run-up. But I just plastered a fake, shiny smile on my face. I stumbled to the back of the bouncy run-up. Charging, my heart pounded against my chest. Feet and hands slipped. Grip. I heard Aliyah sniggering. I heard my brother chanting my name, like my very on cheerleader. Rip! I grabbed the foam piece and breathed a sigh of relief as I slid backwards on my tummy. I felt so proud.
