Today in summer blogging we are re-creating the book cover of our favourite book.
This book- The Evolution Of Calpurnia Tate by Jacqueline Kelly, is a book that is set in 1899 and she and grandfather study and analyze nature.

Happy New Year Catalina,
ReplyDeleteI have been reading LOTS over the holidays. I always find it extremely hard to choose my favourite book - there are just too many and I keep changing my mind! I have not read The Evolution Of Calpurnia Tate. Why is this one your favourite?
I hope you are enjoying your holidays.

Tēnā koe Catalina,
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool design for a new cover of your favourite book! I really like the bright green border that you used along the outside of your book cover, it really catches the eye and draws the reader in!
I noticed that your favourite book ‘The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate’ was all about a girl and her grandfather studying nature, that is awesome! Nature is so cool, I enjoy going hiking through nature and discovering new plants I have never seen before! Do you like to hike?
Do you have any other favourite books? Some of my favourite books are the ones in the Harry Potter series, whenever I read them I feel like I am transported into the book - they are so good!
Don’t forget to include the author’s name on the book cover.
Mā te wā
Charlotte
